The Indian National Congress (INC) is set to launch its own digital media platform, INC TV, on Wednesday (14 April). The details about the online platform will be revealed at a press conference at 11:30 am at the party's headquarters.
Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala, Mahila Congress chief Sushmita Dev and Youth Congress president Srinivas BV will be present at the launch event.
INC TV will be the party's channel to give news and also combat the propaganda against Congress, said party sources. It is also aimed at conveying the party's message directly to the people.
The party believes that their side of the story is not presented properly, alleging a bias against the party. Though the party runs the National Herald and Navjivan, they are operated by a trust called the AJL.
