The Delhi Police has arrested two operatives of the banned Khalistani outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) identified as 41-years-old Bhupinder Singh alias Dilawar Singh, and 39-years-old Kulwant Singh, reports Times of India.

As per the details revealed by DCP (Special Cell) Sanjeev Yadav, both the arrested individuals hail from Ludhiana and were acting on the directions of Pakistan's ISI-sponsored Khalistani leaders to assassinate several targets in various north Indian states.

The two have disclosed that their links to BKI and Khalistan Commando Forces leaders settled abroad.

Delhi Police has also seized two phones, seven pistols and 45 cartridges from the duo, along with many videos, documents and photographs belonging to the Khalistani movement and their propagators. Delhi Police has also launched a hunt to nab the duo's associates who are also believed to be putting up in Delhi-NCR region.

The arrest of the duo took place, as the Delhi Police's Special Cell had intensified surveillance in the first week of August following an alert received from an intelligence agency about Khalistani groups planning assassination bids.
