Ready to host the one of its kind Uttarakhand Wellness Summit 2020 in the month of April, the Government of the State led by Chief Minister (CM) Trivendra Singh is going all out to promote the event, reports Economic Times.
The State Government has officially launched a series of roadshows to promote the summit in a partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). The summit will be held in the city of Dehradun.
The summit gains significance as Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi had called on the State to elevate itself into a Global Spiritual Economic Zone.
It should be noted that major industry players like Zivaya Wellness Private Limited, JSW Sports Private Limited, Herbal Life Nutrition and Ressino Biotech have evinced the desire to partake in the State Government's initiative.
The initiative is likely to help the State tap into the global wellness economy which as of 2017 stood at a massive $4.2 trillion size, with an annual growth of an impressive 6.4 per cent.
