The entire terror team of the Masood Azhar led Jaish-e-Mohammed has been neutralised by the India security forces withing 45 days, ANI has reported.
All the individuals involved in the terror attack were neutralised via various methods including technical and human intelligence based operations. These operations also include the arrest and deportation of any Jaish cadre.
In total Indian armed forces have eliminated 66 terrorists in 2019 so far out of which 27 owed their allegiance to the Jaish-e-Mohammed. Nineteen of them were eliminated after the Pulwama terror attack.
Following the attack, four Jaish terrorists directly involved in the terror attack were killed and four others were arrested. Those slain include Mushashir Ahmed Khan and Sajjad Bhat. These breakthroughs were made possible via interrogation of 40 Jaish supporters in the Kashmir valley.
Besides this, the NIA has taken into its custody two terrorists namely Nisar Ahmed Tantray and Sajjad who are suspected of assisting Pulwama suicide bomber Adil Ahmed Dar by sourcing the IED from a Pakistani handler.
