FIA Names Who’s Who Of Pakistan In Benami Property Owners’ List; Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s Sister Finds Mention

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has submitted a report to the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding government officials who own benami property in Dubai. This list also includes the name of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khanum.
Some of the other notable names to be included in the report is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)‘s spokesperson Farrukh Saleem’s mother, Senator Taj Afridi, and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Makhdoom Amin Faheem’s widow, Free Press Journal has reported.
Furthermore, some of the names included in the report also are PTI leader Mumtaz Ahmed Muslim, who owns more than 16 properties and former PPP Minister Amin Faheem’s widow Rizwana Ameen. PML-N Senator Anwar Baig’s wife owns an apartment as well. Singer Adnan Sami’s mother Noreen Sami Khan’s name is present as well, since she owns three properties in her name.
Several people from the Customs, Federal Board of Revenue and Pakistan International Airlines have been listed in the report. Apart from the aforementioned, daughters of Tariq Aziz, who served as secretary to former president General Pervez Musharraf has also been named.
All those people whose names have been listed have been sent notices by the agency.
