The first meeting of the Shree Ramjanmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the trust mandated by the central government to complete the construction of Shri Ram temple at Ayodhya, is scheduled for Wednesday (19 February).
In the meeting, the trust will finalise the “muhurat” for starting the construction of the Ram temple at Ayodhya and will also deliberate on a transparent mode by which the collection of funds for the mandir could be done besides discussing future course of action, reports Times of India.
The trust will hold its first meeting on 19 February in New Delhi with several key decisions on its agenda.
According to the report, the trust is likely to finalise the timeline for construction of the Shri Ram temple. The members would also discuss the way in which the funds need to be generated for building the temple.
The focus will be on mechanism by which to receive donations for the construction of temple from common people, in transparent and controversy-free manner.
"The members are also likely to finalise the correct "muhurat" for laying of the foundation stone and a timeline for completion of the temple. Also on the agenda would be the suitable placement of idol of Ram Lalla as the construction work progresses," a source was quoted in the report as saying.
The 15-member trust, which was formed by the central government last month, has religious as well as civilian members as part of it apart from the bureaucrats. The office of the trust is in Greater Kailash, which is also the address of advocate K Parasaran, who represented Ram lalla in the Ram Janmabhoomi case in Supreme Court.
