Five Days Before Results, Arvind Kejriwal Says Muslim Votes In Delhi Went to Congress At Last Moment

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has expressed worry over Muslim votes tilting towards Congress in Delhi at the last moment, reports Financial Express.
With the results of the election still five days away, Kejriwal has said that the Muslim votes in the national capital went to Congress and his party was trying to ascertain why it all happened.
“Let us see what happens, just two days before the polling; we were confident of winning all seven seats. But, at the last moment, Muslim votes went to Congress. We are trying to know what happened,” said Kejriwal.
Despite lengthy talks, AAP and Congress failed to arrive at a pre-poll coalition in Delhi, as both the parties could not reach common ground over seat sharing. AAP also wanted Congress to agree to seat sharing in Punjab and Haryana, which Congress was reluctant to do.
