Famed hair stylist Jawed Habib joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday (22 April) in presence of party leaders in New Delhi, ANI has reported.
After joining the party he commented that till date he was Chowkidar of hairs and now he has become the Chowkidar of the nation.
Habib is one of India’s most well known hair stylists and also operates over 550 unisex salons in India and abroad.
In the Lok Sabha election season various eminent individuals have joined the BJP including ace former cricketer Gautam Gambhir, India’s first Paralympic silver medallist Deepa Malik, former CRPF Director General Prakash Kumar and former Army vice-chief of staff Sarath Chand.
