On 29 September 2018, the Government of Madhya Pradesh will be hosting a startup conclave in its bid to boost entrepreneurship opportunities across the state. The conclave shall focus on connecting startup entrepreneurs to experts, leaders, investors, and other stalwarts from the industry.
To be hosted at B-Nest which is the incubation centre of the Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation Limited, the conclave will offer a major boost to startups, innovators, and upcoming enterprises across the state.
Divided across sessions, the conclave will be chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and will also see the presence of dignitaries like Amitabh Kant (CEO of Niti Aayog) along with many other leading entrepreneurs from diverse industries.
The Chief Minister will be interacting with startup entrepreneurs across the state. For most upcoming enterprises in the state, this conclave shall bridge the opportunity between finding investors and shall offer a path to grow and reach out to a greater number of audience.
In order to encourage students across the state and inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship within the educational institutes, the conclave will be live streamed in schools and colleges. The projected student reach through live streaming is expected to be over 150,000 in schools and colleges.
In recent years, the state has attracted attention for the number of investments it has seen. Also, after the launch of the Madhya Pradesh Startup and Incubation Policy in 2016, the state invested Rs. 100 Crore in a fund for investments in deserving startups.
The conclave, aligned with the idea of Startup India, is integral to the growth of the Madhya Pradesh since the state looks to innovate across industries.
