Girl’s Family Used Road Rage As A Pretext To Pull Ankit Out Of His Vehicle, Then Stabbed Him To Death: Eyewitnesses

The mother of Ankit Saxena’s alleged girlfriend rammed her scooter into his car and used it as a pretext to pull him out of his vehicle, people who witnessed the incident on the road have said, according to the Hindustan Times.

After pulling him out of his vehicle, the girl’s family attacked Saxena and stabbed him to death on the road in west Delhi’s Raghubir Nagar. This version of events has also been corroborated by police.

“Her mother rode right into Saxena’s car. He did not know that the scooter rider was his girlfriend’s mother,” said Pappu, an eyewitness. After the girl’s mother forced Ankit to come out of his car, other relatives joined her and heckled him, he added.

“Her other relatives, who were nearby, joined her as they began heckling Saxena and blaming him for her disappearance,” Pappu said.

While Saxena defended himself and denied being in a relationship with the girl, his parents were alerted. But this did not deter the girl’s family.

“They kept beating him even as a large crowd gathered around them,” said Sarika, a neighbourhood resident.

After his parents arrived on the spot, “the woman’s mother began thrashing Saxena’s mother. He rushed to her help and bent down to pick up his mother. It was at that moment that her uncle caught him by his hair and pulled him up. While the two of them held his arms from behind, the woman’s father slit his throat,” Neeraj, another eyewitness, said as he described the events before Saxena’s killing.
