Buoyed by the response Uttar Pradesh's products are receiving from countries across the world, the Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath led government has decided to set up overseas trade promotion and facilitation centres in all the 75 districts.

The MSME department of the state government is also planning to set up a centralised facilitation centre for better coordination among various hubs. The Government has claimed that these centres will increase the worth of exports by at least Rs 400 crore and provide employment opportunities to 4,000 people.

As per the data, Uttar Pradesh is the sixth major exporting state of the country, after Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
