Haryana Elections 2019
Haryana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Subash Barala has submitted his resignation after the party’s below par performance in the assembly election, reports Money Control.
To compound to Barala's misery, he is most likely to lose his own constituency. As per the latest trends, Barala is trailing by 30,705 votes over Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) candidate Devinder Singh Babli from the Tohana seat.
In order to form a majority government, BJP would need 46 seats and looking at the trends, it is unlikely it will achieve that number on its own.
Now JJP chief, Dushyant Chautala will play a major role in forming the government in Haryana Assembly along with the independent candidates who would now be courted by both BJP and the Congress to get majority.
