Home Minister Amit Shah announced via Twitter on Friday (14 August) that he has tested negative for Covid-19.
Shah in his tweet thanked god and gave his heartfelt gratitude to all his well wishers who wished for his recovery and also morally supported his family members during his treatment. He will remain in home isolation for a few days.
He also thanked the doctors and paramedical staff at the Medanta hospital who treated him for the viral infection.
Shah had tested positive for Coronavirus on 2 August after displaying early symptoms of the disease.
Senior BJP leaders Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Jyotiraditya Scindia too had tested positive for Covid-19 and have since then recovered.
