On the pretext of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, the Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the Chartered Accountants (CA) examination which was to begin 2 May to 27 May, reports Indian Express.
“It is now notified for general information that because of Elections to the 17th Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituencies across the country, spanning April-May, 2019, the Chartered Accountants Examinations initially scheduled from 2 May to 17 May stand rescheduled. The said examinations shall now be held from 27 May to 12 June", IE quoted the ICAI official statement as saying.
Candidates a required to apply for the CA exams on the official website icaiexam.icai.org.
The application process began on 20 February and will conclude on 12 March.
The exams will be conducted at 139 centres across the country along with five international centres.
The last date for application is today (12 March) without late fee and 19 March with late fee of Rs 600.
