Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in a direct attack on Mayawati’s recent appeal to prevent a Muslim vote split, has claimed that if the Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) believe in “Ali”, then the BJP believes in Bajrangbali, ANI UP has reported.
Mayawati was quoted as saying that, “I want to say this to the people of Muslim community that you should not spilt your vote. You should consolidate your vote in the favour of the candidates of SP and RLD and make them win”.
While addressing a public rally in Meerut, Yogi Adityanath asked the crowd if they had listened to Mayawati’s speech in Saharanpur. When the crowd replied in affirmative Yogi said that Congress, SP and BSP believes in Ali, then we too believe in Bajrangbali.
As the crowd erupted, Yogi added that the Mahagathbandhan parties and the Congress are convinced that the followers of Bajrangbali will never tolerate them and appealed to them to reject the Mahagathbandhan in Western Uttar Pradesh.
