Going all out for the potential need for both fire and fury, to push back belligerent China from the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh, Indian Army has placed three divisions and several squadrons of frontline tanks to the Ladakh sector, reports Hindustan Times.
It should be noted that three divisions deployed across the flared up LAC account for as many as 30,000 well-trained troopers. Furthermore, the Army has also deployed artillery pieces and fully-ready mechanised infantry squads in the Ladakh sector to build up the military posturing.
According to a source cited by HT, a large number of the troopers have been deployed from the Army's reserve formations in mountainous regions in North India who have operated in the sector, full of difficult terrains and harsh weather, as a part of their regular training.
It should also be noted that not only have the divisions moved to Ladakh sector with their own integral military equipment and weaponry, tanks and combat vehicles have also been amassed from multiple other bases in the Western sector.
