Former Union Finance & Defence Minister from the previous Modi Government, Arun Jaitley, who left for his heavenly abode yesterday (24 August) at AIIMS Delhi has since been eulogised by politicians and people across the spectrum.
Hindi News Daily Dainik Bhaskar has reported that Jaitley ensured that the children of his staff studied at the same school at which his own children studied - Carmel Convent School based in Chakyapuri, New Delhi.
The publication reported that Jaitley was very close to his personal staff and altruistically arranged for the medical needs of his staff along with taking care of the education of their children, including the needs for foreign education if needed.
As an outcome of the same magnanimity of Jaitley, three of assistants' children are enrolled in foreign colleges and universities. One of the two daughters of his kitchen manager is pursuing her education in London. His assistant Gopal's sons too are doctor and engineer, after Jaitley paid their education fees.
In another large-hearted act, Jaitley had gifted his own car to his assistant O P Sharma's son Chetan in 2005 when he was studying law.
