The NIA.
In a clandestinely executed joint operation, the officials of Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have successfully nabbed two Kerala and Uttar Pradesh (UP) based individuals from the former's capital city of Thiruvananthapuram, reports Times of India.
Both the terror suspects were under the radar of the central intelligence agencies for their alleged involvement in terrorism cases.
The duo was arrested as soon as they landed in Thiruvananthapuram from Riyadh. They were brought from Riyadh based on a look-out notice which had been issued against them.
The duo has been identified as Shuhaib and Mohammed Gul Nawaz. Shuhaib who hails from Kannur in Kerala was allegedly part of the team which had executed the 2009 Bengaluru bomb blast. Meanwhile, Nawaz who hails from UP was allegedly involved in a Delhi bomb blast.
As per the NIA, Shuhaib will now be taken to Bengaluru, while Nawaz will be taken to Delhi.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
