11.51 am, 25 November - Supreme Court reserves its order on Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress plea for tomorrow 10.30 am.

11.50 am, 25 November - BJP's counsel Mukul Rohatgi refers to constitutional provisions and says, procedures of assembly like pro-tem speaker cannot be interfered with.

11.49 am, 25 November - "The three parties can't even agree to field a common counsel," SG Tushar Mehta takes a dig at many counsels representing the NCP-Congress-Sena joint plea by advocates Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi.

11.35 am, 25 November - Singhvi also claims that the coalition has the support of seven independent MLAs.

11.34 am, 25 November - Abhishek M Singhvi, appearing for NCP and Congress, tells SC, “Thackeray has support of 48 NCP MLAs, 56 Sena MLAs, 44 Congress MLAs, and their support is stated in sworn affidavits.”

11.31 am, 25 November - Advocate Maninder Singh appears for Ajit Pawar, says he represents NCP and Maha governor rightly invited Fadnavis to form govt.

11.25 am, 25 November - Sibal, on behalf of Sena, claims before the SC that Uddhav Thackeray has affidavits of 154 MLAs belonging to Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress declaring their support to him as leader of Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi.

11.24 am, 25 November - Sibal says, revoking President’s rule at 5.17 am means everything happened before this time in the night.

11.23 am, 25 November - “What was the national emergency that President's rule was revoked at 5.17am and swearing-in was held at 8am?” Kapil Sibal, appearing for Shiv Sena tells SC.

11.19 am, 25 November - Mukul Rohatgi says, 5-judge bench supposed to examine the power of Speaker in such matters, and asks SC not to judicially review actions of Maharashtra governor.

11.17 am, 25 November - “Governor's action, calling a party to form govt, is immune from judicial review. The matter is fraught with serious consequences, the governor's discretionary power cannot be judicially reviewed,” Says Maharashtra BJP’s counsel in SC.

11.02 am, 25 November - It is a governor's discretion to give time to a CM to prove majority and the SC has no jurisdiction to enter that arena, says Mukul Rohatgi.

11.00 am, 25 November - Supreme Court says, “The crux of the issue is whether CM Devendra Fadnavis enjoys majority support in the House and this can only be decided through a floor test.”

10.50 am, 25 November - Governor had the subjective satisfaction of BJP-NCP coalition enjoying majority in the House with support of 160 MLAs and hence, invited Fadnavis to take oath, says SG Tushar Mehta.

10.47 am, 25 November - Solicitor General Mehta shows to court a 23 November letter from Ajit Pawar, pledging support of all 54 NCP MLAs to Fadnavis and the requests BJP-NCP coalition to be invited to form government.

10.40 am, 25 November - Solicitor General Tushar Mehta tells the Court that he has the original documents with him. He hands over original letter of governor inviting Fadnavis to form government to an SC bench of Justices NV Ramana, Ashok Bhushan, and Sanjiv Khanna.
