The Supreme Court on Monday (25 November) had reserved its decision on the joint petition filed by Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party, and Congress Party seeking immediate floor test in Maharashtra State Assembly.
The court will pronounce its order today (26 November) at 10.30 am as counsels appearing for all sides finished their arguments before the bench comprising Justices N V Ramana, Ashok Bhushan and Sanjiv Khanna.
While senior Counsel Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi had appeared for Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta presented the case for Maharashtra Raj Bhavan and Mukul Rohatgi appeared for Maharashtra BJP.
