Maharashtra: Seven Properties Belonging To Dawood Ibrahim's Family In Ratnagiri To Be Auctioned Today

Seven properties belonging to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's family in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri are set to be auctioned off today (10 November), reports Times of India.

The properties set to be auctioned today are located in Mumbake and Lote villages in Ratnagiri's Khed Taluka. These properties are registered in the names of Ibrahim's mother Amina Bi and his late sister Haseena Parker. Of the seven, five are registered in Bi's name. The properties are said to have been bought with proceeds of crime.

Along with these properties, a 1,245 square feet flat belonging to Ibrahim's aide Iqbal Mirchi will also be auctioned off today. The flat is located in Milton Apartment on Juhu Tata Road in Mumbai's Santacruz (West). The reserve price for the flat's auction has been set at Rs 3.45 crore.

The said properties had been confiscated under the provisions of stringent Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. The properties had also been confiscated under a section of the Smugglers And Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act (Safema), 1976.
