‘Metroman’ E Sreedharan, the BJP candidate from Palakkad constituency for the Kerala assembly elections, has assured that he is unruffled by his posters being vandalized by the opposition parties.

The celebrated engineer added that the people of the state believe in his capabilities and mentioned that the other parties are desperate to see Sreedharan fail in the upcoming polls.

The Palakkad assembly constituency is set to see a three-cornered fight as the 88-year-old will come up against incumbent Congress MLA Shafi Parambil and CPI-M candidate CP Pramod.

Speaking to ANI, E Sreedharan said, “It (damage caused to his posters) only shows that the opposition party somehow wants to see that I do not win but I am not bothered about it. People understand my intentions and what can I do.”

Taking to Twitter, the revered former government servant explained that he is pained at the unfortunate incident but not angry.

He wished to understand the motivations and concerns of the people who vandalized his banners. Reflecting his optimism, Sreedharan opined that hate is not the solution and vouched for positively using the energy and efforts to build a new Kerala.
