Mumbai Drugs Bust: NCB Raids Actress Ananya Panday's Residence, Summons Her For Interrogation

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned Bollywood actress Ananya Panday for interrogation amidst their investigation in the drug bust involving Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.
The NCB conducted a raid Ananya’s residence at Pali Hill in Bandra earlier on Thursday and issued her a notice of appearing before them at the NCB office at 2 pm on the day.
Ananya’s parents Chunky Panday and Bhavna Panday are friends of Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan. Reportedly, certain phones, electronic devices and laptops were recovered from Panday’s house.
DNA had previously reported that the NCB submitted Aryan Khan’s chats discussing drugs with an upcoming actress to the court before his bail plea was rejected on Wednesday.
Aryan has been under arrest since 3rd October and the special NDPS court mentioned in its 21 page order that Aryan’s WhatsApp chats prima facie revealed he was “dealing in illicit drug activities on a regular basis”.
The court thus added that it cannot be said that he was not likely to commit a similar offence if released on bail.
Earlier, the NCB had argued in court that Aryan was not new to drugs and that the drugs found on his friend Arbaaz Merchant were for the personal consumption of both Aryan and Arbaaz, News18 reports.
