The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has seized the cell phones of actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor after questioning the three on Saturday (26 September) for hours in connection with the ongoing investigations into Bollywood's drug nexus, reports Hindustan Times.
NCB interrogated Khan and Kapoor at its zonal office situated in Mumbai's Ballard Estate, while it interrogated Padukone at a guest house in Mumbai' Colaba area. Padukone had been confronted by the officials along with her manager Karishma Prakash.
NCB has recorded the statements of each one of them. NCB has seized the cell phones of actress Rakul Preet Singh, Simone Khambatta and Jaya Shah.
Also, NCB has arrested Kshitij Ravi Prasad who is the executive producer of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The agency has in total arrested at least 18 persons in the ongoing investigations.
So far, the ongoing investigations have revealed several chats involving big names, revealing alleged details related to drug consumption, procurement, usage and transportation in the Bollywood film industry.
