Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday (8 November) announced that commuters in the national capital will not have to face the Odd-Even scheme on 11 and 12 November due to the celebration of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

Speaking to the media, Kejriwal said the decision came after people from the Sikh community requested the government to relax the rules as they celebrate the birth anniversary of their faith's founder on 12 November.

The national capital is witnessing the Odd-Even scheme from 4 November and it will continue till 15 November to keep air pollution in check.
