Ram Madhav (Vipin Kumar/Hindustan Times)
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to ally with Congress was criticised by Bhartiya Janata Party’s national secretary and MLC V Ram Madhav.
He said that Mr Naidu’s decision to support Congress would trouble the soul of TDP founder and two time chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, late NT Ramarao.
Madhav while addressing the BJP women’s wing in Guntur, the Mahila Sadhikaratha-Mahila Sammelan, condemned TDP saying that while NTR worked with BSP founder Kanshiram and party president Mayawati against the corruption of Congress, Naidu was working with Mayawati to save the Congress.
Terming TDP as ‘Telugu Drohula Party’, he earnestly asked the women unseat the TDP and give a chance to the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. He remarked that it was sad that Naidu has gone to Delhi to save Congress and not to help the people of Andhra Pradesh , as reported by the New Indian Express.
He taunted Naidu jokingly for using Union government funds for the construction of Polavaram project on one hand but working for the benefit of Congress on the other.
He criticised Naidu alleging he was involved in the toilet scam and warned that Centre would not allow the rampant corruption by Naidu.
