The horrifying ordeal of Hindus in Pakistan was captured in several videos doing rounds on social media after a Hindu school principal was accused of blasphemy in the Islamic Republic.

In Ghotki village of Sindh, Abdul Aziz Rajput, father of a student of Sindh Public School accused the principal Notan Mal of making derogatory remarks against Muhammad, the founder of Islam, reports India Today.

Reportedly, the city has been shut down on account of the rioting and Hindus are confined to their homes out of fear. The school, and a total of three temples have been attacked.

World Sindhi Congress also put out a tweet saying that the Hindu community in Ghotki Sindh was under attack and “Principal's school, Hindu temples, shops and homes were ransacked by mobs”.

In a video, the mob can be seen attacking what seems to be the school amid chants of “Allahu Akbar”. Men wielding sticks and other things were seen destroying the school property.

As per reports, radical Islamist leader Mian Mithoo is behind mobilising the mobs for attacks. An Islamic cleric, Mian is also notorious for facilitating abduction and forced conversion of Hindu girls. He is reportedly quite close to Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan as well as the country’s army chief.
