Amid Indo-Chinese border tensions, Pakistan has upped its nefarious acts along the Line of Control (LoC) to infiltrate terrorists in the Indian territory with the goal of fomenting terrorism and unrest in the Kashmir Valley, reports Times of India.

As per intelligence reports, 280-300 heavily armed terrorists have been kept ready by Pakistan to be pushed into India. To accomplish this very machination, Pakistan has increased ceasefire violations which at present rate is expected to shatter all previous records this year.

In January, there were 367 ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the LoC, 366 in February, 411 in March, 387 in April, 382 in May and 320 in June. It should be noted that in 2019, Pakistan had violated ceasefire as many as 3,479 times, not only along the LoC but also along the settled international border in the Jammu region.

The increased attempts by Pakistan's Army to infiltrate terrorists come when at Indian and Chinese forces are engaged in a simmering situation across the length of the Line of Actual Control (LAC), especially in areas like Galwan Valley, Pangong Tso and Depsang.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that the security forces have gunned down around 130 terrorists in the Kashmir Valley so far this year, of which almost 50 were gunned down in the bygone month of June alone.
