A Pakistani singer named Rabi Pirzada who had recently posted a video of her playing with snakes and alligators in a bid to threaten Prime Minister Modi over Kashmir, now faces a two-year jail for her stunt.

Now as per reports, Punjab Wildlife Department has now initiated an inquiry over the violation of Punjab Wildlife (Protection, Conservation and Management) Act of 1974 (amended 2007).

Under this act possession of wild animals is illegal and is punishable with a jail term of two to three years or a fine up to Rs 20,000. A team constituted by Director-General of the Punjab Wildlife & Parks, Sohail Ashraf would now take action against the Pakistani singer.

Here is the controversial video in question.

In the video Pirzada can be heard threatening Prime Minister Modi with dire consequences over Kashmir including getting bitten by her snake and alligator friends.

After this stunt has come back to bite Pirzada, she has accused the Punjab wildlife department of doing Prime Minister Modi’s bidding and alleged that she has been selectively targeted.

“For all those sick minded who r reminding me to get license, where was wildlife before my threat to Modi? Can’t you see why they did this’, tweeted Pirzada.
