Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has raked up yet another controversy by reportedly claiming that people who do not have food to eat join the armed forces.
A clipping of Kumaraswamy making this statement was shared by the BJP Karnataka official twitter account.
This resulted in a political attack by the BJP which retorted that people joined the Indian armed forces not because they are starving but because they love the nation. It also asked why does Kumaraswamy not send his son to serve in the army instead of trying to become an MP.
Incidentally, this statement comes after Kumaraswamy made another odd statement wherein he alleged that Prime Minster Narendra Modi wakes-up every morning, applies make-up to his face and sits in front of the camera.
Kumaraswamy in contrast claimed that he just takes bath once a day and only washes his face the next morning due to which the media doesn’t give him enough coverage.
