POCSO Shocker: Bihar Court Directs Molestation Accused To Apologise To Girl Every Day For 15 Days

In a shocking and bizarre judgement, a Darbhanga court has granted bail to three accused in connection with a case pertaining to molestation of a minor girl by directed them to apologise to the girl every day for 15 consecutive days, ANI reported.
The court of Special Judge Sanjay Aggarwal also granted bail to three accused in the case of molesting a minor.
Judge Agrawal also ordered accused be released on provisional bail till 17 December on furnishing bond of Rs 10,000 each with two sureties of the like amount.
Shockingly the judge also directed the accused to do community service in the Ram Sringari Kenya High School and J M High School, both in Kamtaul here for eight and seven days, respectively.
The headmaster of Ram Singari Kanya High School was directed to see if all the three accused have complied with the order for 15 days.
The names of the accused have been identified as Hashmat Khan, Md Akbar and Md Afzal.
On 17 November, the three men took the minor, who was going to coaching in the village of Aathiari of Kamatoul police station, to an orchard with the intention to molest her. However, after the friend of the victim raised an alarm, a group of villagers intervened after which the accused fled the scene.
A case was registered against them under several Sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act
