Protests Rock China's Inner Mongolia Region As CCP Regime Mandates Teaching In Mandarin Instead Of Mongolian

In a rare development, protests have erupted in China's ethnic Mongolian region over the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime's imposition of Mandarin over Mongolian in the schools, reports Hindustan Times.
China had changed the curriculum earlier this week, mandating the schools in Inner Mongolia to teach the three core subjects of politics, history, and language and literature in Mandarin and not in Mongolian anymore.
According to the China's plan, beginning from September, language and literature subject will be taught in Mandarin. Thereafter, from next year onwards, subjects on morality and law which comprise politics will also be taught in Mandarin, following which from 2022 onwards history subject will be taught in the national Chinese language as well.
China's move is similar to what it had done in Tibet and Xinjiang earlier, where local languages were replaced with Mandarin.
Standing against the development, parents staged protests and schools were also boycotted. The protesting people assert that China is attempting to wipe out Mongolian language, culture and identity and replace it with majority Han culture.
