Rafale Fighter Jets
The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Thursday (10 September) inducted five Rafale fighter jets in its squad in a ceremony attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and his French counterpart Florence Parly.
The ceremony began with the customary Sarva Dharma Puja and included a water cannon salute for the fighter jets.
During the course of the ceremony the viewers were enthralled with an air display by the Sarang Aerobatic Team and the Made-In-India fighter jet LCA Tejas.
IAF Chief RKS Bhadauri while speaking at the occasion said that the jets are ready to deliver and have carried out lots of weapon firing, "IAF Rafale jets are good to go and deliver. Squadron busy and on overdrive to operationalise. Lots of integrated training with our other fleets and weapons firing has taken place".
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh while giving a speech said that the IAF will play major role in any future conflict and India will not make any compromise with its territorial integrity.
