The Bharatiya Janata Party in Rajasthan is planning to exclude celebrities from its campaign for the upcoming assembly by-poll in the state, News18 has reported.
The report mentions that BJP state head for Rajasthan Satish Poonia has said that there is a demand for celebrities for the campaign but the party leadership will refrain from inviting them.
The work relating to the campaign and the campaign will be handled by the party leaders. The workers will prefer to work towards winning the poll by depending solely on work and on their organisational strengths.
Assembly by-poll will be held on three seats including Rajsamand.
The Times of India has reported: "The BJP is taking extra precaution in calling its star campaigners for assembly by-polls from outside Rajasthan after hitting out at the Congress leaders for not following the mandatory RT-PCR test rule."
