The Delhi police officers posted at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport attended a workshop to learn about polite ways to greet passengers. With the assistance of IndiGo airlines, the workshop covered a portion of the 'social' and communication skills was given to the authorities.

The preparation program led by IndiGo staff was attended by 50 policemen of the IGI airport unit, reports The Financial Express.

A group of experts from IndiGo aircraft were welcomed for a study of the day to day activities of police officers posted at the IGI airport. The program is called the "behavioural high fives" program where the police were being instructed on how to collaborate with travellers every day and enhance their body language.

The 'high fives' incorporate inviting travellers with a namaste, offering individuals seats, offering a glass of water, utilising open palm signals to coordinate like flying machine staff and giving any data to individuals they may require or advise the guest about the holding up time in the redressal of her complaint.

Sanjay Bhatia, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) (IGI airport) was cited saying that a great deal of pressure has been put on body language and how they collaborate with individuals. A positive and humble signal by the police staff reflects positively on the general public around places like airports and railway stations.
