Rohit Sardana
Senior journalist and noted news anchor Rohit Sardana today (30 April) passed away. Media reports have claimed that Sardana had tested positive for Covid-19 and suffered a heart attack.
Sardana was well known for his journalism and courage to discuss issues which are normally skirted by the mainstream media.
His death has come as a shock to his followers, fellow journalists, media panellists and the media community as a whole.
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and fellow journalists, while expressing shock over Sardana's death pointed out how he was helping Covid-19 afflicted patients until yesterday.
Sardana who was based out of Delhi had spent many years working for Zee Media where he hosted popular news program Taal Thok Ke. He joined Aaj Tak in 2017 and had been anchoring a show named Dangal.
