Shaken By Indian Air Strikes on Balakot, Pakistan Decides To Buy Russian Anti-Aircraft Missile System

Shell shocked by the Indian Air Force (IAF) jets raiding the terrorist camps in Balakot, Pakistan is now looking to buy Russian-made anti-aircraft missile system, reports Zee News.
Pantsir, a medium-range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery system, is what Pakistan is eyeing to buy. Islamabad is reportedly planning to send a delegation to Moscow to seal the deal and also have an arrangement for training defence personnel to Pantsir Missile System.
Further, Pakistan has plans to buy 360 T-90 tanks from Russia to bolster its capabilities along its border with India. The same T-90s are the backbone of the armoured regiments of the Indian Army.
In another effort to further strengthen its armored fleet, Pakistan has decided to buy nearly 600 tanks with Chinese help. In the aftermath of the growing international pressure on Pakistan to reign in Islamist groups active on its soil, China has decided to come in support of its 'all-weather ally'. Beijing will also sell advanced ‘Rainbow’ drones to Pakistan.
As per the report, earlier in the year, the Indian Defence Ministry had approved procurement of 54 Israeli HAROP attack drones for Indian Air Force which can crash into high-value enemy military targets and destroy them completely.
The IAF has an inventory of around 110 of such drones which have been renamed as P-4. Pakistan did not have any long-range combating drone until now.
