‘Some Incident’ Happened In February, Willing To Give Up Nukes If India Does, Says Imran Khan In The US

Pakistani Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said that Pakistan can give up its nuclear weapons if India offers to give up its weapons too.
"If India said we would give up our nuclear weapons, would Pakistan?" Khan was asked in an interview.
"Yes, because nuclear war is not an option. And between Pakistan and India, the idea of nuclear war is actually self-destruction, because we have two and a half thousand-mile border" Khan said.
Khan however, termed the 26 February airstrikes in Balakot by India as ‘some incident’ and again asked for US President Donald Trump to mediate between India and Pakistan on Kashmir.
The offer to mediate was made by Trump yesterday, despite India having consistently held to the position that the issue can be resolved only through bilateral channels. India’s position was quickly backed by by several US officials who were in the know of the issue to ensure that the issue does not lead to a diplomatic row between India and the US.
Khan further said in the interview that Kashmir was the ‘only’ issue between India and Pakistan since the last 70 years. The Pakistani PM also added the US is the only country that can mediate on the Kashmir issue, despite its ‘iron-brother’ China having offered to mediate on it earlier.
