Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) working president M K Stalin’s announcement that his party will support the no confidence motion against the Narendra Modi Government has received a backlash in the social media with twitterati taking pot shots at the Dravidian party.
DMK doesn’t even have a single member in the Lok Sabha, where the no confidence motion will be up for vote, and social media has latched on to this to troll the Dravidian party.
#ZEROMPDMK began to trend Twitter by noon on Thursday after DMK’s detractors latched on to Stalin’s statement. In the 2014 elections to the Lok Sabha, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhavam won 37 of the 39 seats in Tamil Nadu with the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) winning one each. The lone Lok Sabha seat in Puducherry was won by the All India NR Congress, which was an ally of the BJP.
