Tata Sky Revises Prices, Composition Of 25 Regional HD, SD Packs In Major Reshuffle

Tata Sky has made a revision in the pricing of 25 channel packs and has changed the composition in various packs ranging from cheapest to premium plans. The direct-to-home (DTH) provider has revised most of the regional packs and is focusing on language-specific changes, the Telecom Talk reports.
Packs which are revised include Gujarati Regional pack which now offers five channels, instead of four, and now costs Rs 8.49 instead of Rs 7. The Tamil Family Sports pack now consists of 77 channels instead of 76 and retails for Rs 254.27 instead of Rs 267.
Similarly, the Telugu Family Sports pack sees the addition of one channel, pushing the total channel count to 75 and price reduction by three rupees to Rs 282.
Other channel packs which have a change in channel composition and prices are Kannada Family Sports, Telugu Family Sports HD, Kannada Family Sports HD, Malayalam Family Sports HD, Tamil Family Kids Sports, Tamil Premium Sports English, Telugu Premium Sports and English, Tamil Telugu Basic, Malayalam Basic, Telugu Kannada Basic, Tamil Regional HD, Hindi Starter, Hindi Starter HD and Kannada Smart Plan.
