DTH operator Tata Sky has introduced a pack optimisation feature for its subscribers which will allow them to watch more channels at a lower price, Dream DTH has reported.
This pack-optimisation option would suggest better packs to the customers available at lower cost. It is currently the only DTH operator which offers this feature on its website.
In order to avail this facility, the subscribers would need to login to their Tata Sky account and navigate to “manage pack”.
After that, the customers would need to choose all the channels and packs they want to watch and then click the “optimise” button.
Tata Sky will then show how many more channels you can avail for the given packs at what lower price.
This development comes in the light of Tata Sky adding the largest subscriber base in the new TRAI regime, which has included attractive set top box pricing and multi-tv policy.
