IIT Mandi, based in the hill state of Himachal Pradesh, is hosting an international workshop on Nano/Micro 2D & 3D fabrication and manufacturing of Electronic & Biomedical Devices and Applications. The workshop is a three-day affair (31 October to 2 November), with today being the last day to learn about the latest engineering technologies.
The Institute, situated near the Shivalik Range of the Himalayas, will provide an excellent opportunity to network and develop research collaboration with renowned National and International Scientists/Engineers. More details for the same can be found here.
Esteemed figures like R. Subrahmanyam (Secretary of the Union HRD Ministry), M Jagadesh Kumar (Vice-Chancellor of JNU, Delhi) were some of the speaker-invitees to the workshops.
IIT Mandi, established in 2009 as part of HRD Ministry's programme to establish eight new IITs which will make higher education accessible in different parts of the country, is spread over 520 acres, along the river Uhl in Himachal Pradesh.
