Swami Paripoornananda In Delhi (Swami Paripoornananda/Facebook)
Sri Peetham seer Swami Paripoornananda finally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of party chief Amit Shah on Friday. The induction happened in the presence of former BJP MLA NVSS Prabhakar and BJP general secretary Ram Madhav.
Swami Paripoornananda has been progressively vocal in politics. Sources report he might be contesting from a BJP ticket from of one of the assembly constituencies in Greater Hyderabad, as reported by Hans India.
The seer had also met Amit Shah and party general secretary Ram Madhav 10 days ago during which they discussed dharma and values of the country. He also said that they discussed political plans and that he would do whatever Amit Shah would say.
A few months ago, the seer from Sri Peetham was exiled from Hyderabad by the KCR government because he spoke about atrocities against Hindus and led a protest against film critic Kathi Mahesh, who derogated Lord Rama. He received a rousing welcome from his supporters upon return.
