Traffic Chaos At Hyderabad’s Mindspace Roundabout Leaves Commuters Seething

The stretch of road from Cyber Towers to Biodiversity Junction, which is the Hitech City main road, is reported not to have signals. However, this arrangement is causing severe problems in the heavy traffic.
The Telangana government has spent over Rs 108 crore to develop the stretch by commissioning an underpass and a flyover. The underpass connects motorists from Biodiversity to Cyber Towers and was inaugurated a few months ago, while the Mindspace flyover was opened a month ago, reported Indian Express.
But in peak hours in the evening, traffic merging at the Mindspace roundabout from all sides, makes commuters stuck in massive jams. With no signals at the roundabout, the issue has worsened.
People working in Raheja Mindspace, however, are bugged because to use the Hitech City roundabout, they have to take a long U-turn. This is prompting many people to use the Mindspace roundabout instead. But this doesn’t have a signal, causing traffic problems.
The police, however, undertook a study to understand if a traffic signal among other solutions, is required. They also say that it can be attributed to commuters not getting used to the rotary yet, with a call on future course to be taken after a week.
