A perturbing video has emerged from West Bengal, which shows a man, believed to be a Trinamool worker, openly brandishing a gun during a bike rally in Sainthia, Birbhum, reports Times Now News.
The roadshow had around 200 participants, including the gun-wielding man who can be seen riding pillion on one of the bikes.
The incumbent from the Birbhum seat is TMC Satabdi, who is pitted against BJP candidate Dudhkumar Mandal during the present Lok Sabha elections.
The rally was headed by local Trinamool leaders, among them area president Prashanto Mondal.
There have been multiple reports of election-related violence in West Bengal during the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, and the clashes have already claimed the life of one individual.
Proxy voting by Trinamool workers has also been allegedly taking place in some areas, while there have also been reports of booth capturing by force of arms.
