Indian Railways is all set to introduce two new weekly Humsafar Express trains on the Udaipur-Patna and Jammu-Nanded routes.
A premium train by Indian Railways, Humsafar Express, boasts of AC-3 tier coaches and luxury features like plush seats, modular toilets, fire retardant and suppression system, tea/coffee vending machines and GPS-enabled passenger information system.
A press release by Indian Railways states that train number 19669/19670 Humsafar Express will run between Udaipur City and Patliputra while train number 12751/12752 will run between Hazur Sahib Nanded and Jammu Tawi. Both trains have sixteen air-conditioned AC-3 tier coaches as reported by Financial Express.
From 10 October onwards, the one from Udaipur City will depart on every Wednesday at 12.20 pm to reach Patliputra at 9.15 pm the next day. It will leave from Patliputra on every Friday at 12.10 am from 12 October onwards to reach Udaipur City at 8.20 am the next day.
From 12 October onwards, the train from Hazur Sahib Nanded will depart on every Friday at 10.30 am to reach Jammu Tawi at 11.30 pm the next day. On the return journey, it will depart from Jammu Tawi every Sunday at 07.25 am from 14 October onwards to reach Hazur Sahib Nanded at 08.45 am the next day.
