In a shocking incident, a man beheaded his wife suspecting infidelity in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district, reports Hindustan Times. He then walked with her severed head to the police station where he surrendered.
The gruelling incident occurred on Friday (9 October) morning when the accused, identified as one Chinnar Yadav, had a quarrel with his wife Vimla (35) at around 7.30 am in their Netanagar locality house.
As per the report, Superintendent of Police, Mahendra Pratap Singh Chauhan said that Yadav, in a fit of rage, chopped her wife’s head with a sharp edged weapon and carried it to the Baberu Police Station where he surrendered.
The horrifying video of the accused walking on the road holding his wife’s chopped head had also gone viral on social media. The police further stated that they have recovered the murder weapon and added that the body of the victim has been sent for post-mortem.
