Blockbuster Bollywood movie Uri-The Surgical Strike would take its next step from the movie theatres and premier on video streaming platform ZEE5, Television Post has reported.
The movie would be available to ZEE5 subscribers from 19 March. The business head of ZEE5 India affirmed that the digital release too would be a success and expressed faith that movie buffs across the spectrum would enjoy viewing it multiple times.
A dramatisation of India’s surgical strike against Pakistan in the wake of the terror attack at Army Brigade Headquarters In Uri, the movie has earned over Rs 200 crore in box office collections and was said to have been on route to touch the Rs 300 crore mark.
On route to its commercial success, the movie also smashed the record set by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion by collecting Rs 6.25 crore on its fourth Saturday, while the latter grossed Rs 6.20 crores on the same corresponding day.
The movie, made at a relatively small budget of Rs 45 crores, also became 2019’s first Bollywood blockbuster to earn over Rs 100 crores at the box office.
