A gruesome act of crime against children has been reported in Uttar Pradesh (UP)‘s Awagarh in Etah district in which three men have been accused of gang-raping a 10-year old they found alone in a house they had entered to steal cattle.
As reported by Patrika, all the three accused have now been arrested by the police. The accused Arif belongs to Kasganj district while Israr and Kalua belong to Agra.
The three are reportedly known cattle thieves in the area and have been involved in stealing dozens of cattle in the area, having been jailed several times before, as informed by SSP Sunil Kumar Singh.
Having found the girl alone in the house, the accused took her to a nearby tubewell in a farm where they conducted the gruesome act. The accused had escaped after the act but were found by the UP police from Fariha Mod in Awagarh.
The three are now being prosecuted under the POCSO Act and Section 376 of the IPC.
