The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released a video showing how various modules of Chandrayaan-2 were integrated ahead of its scheduled launch at 2.43 PM today (22 July). Earlier this month, on 15 July, ISRO had postponed the launch after it observed a technical snag in the launch vehicle system.

In the behind the scenes video, ISRO can be seen assembling parts of the Baahubali GSLV Mark III - its heaviest rocket till date, at its launch centre in Sriharikota.

The video also includes a time-lapse of the Chandrayaan-2 lander being built by ISRO scientists based out of Bengaluru and its eventual transportation to the final integration centre where it was integrated with the launch vehicle.

The video also shows ISRO’s indigenous CE-20 cryogenic engine, the largest ever built by the agency, being transported for integration into GSLV Mark-III.
